Partnership & Society 47 Statement

1. The relationship

ENN Japan Inc. (Tokyo) and 1716 Industries Lda. (Lisbon) are independent companies working in strategic collaboration on business connecting Japan and Europe. ENN Japan Inc. is not a subsidiary or internal division of 1716 Industries Lda., and neither party is authorised to act as agent for the other.

2. Division of roles

ENN Japan is responsible for producer and origin relationships in Japan, ingredient sourcing, export preparation, brand direction and storytelling. 1716 Industries supports market development, commercial operations and governance across the EU and the United Kingdom.

3. Society 47

Society 47 is a brand being developed in collaboration between the two companies for the European market. The ownership and management of its name, logo, design system and other intellectual property are being finalised under agreements between the parties. This statement will be updated once those arrangements are concluded.

4. Precedence

If descriptions of the collaboration on this website and on the 1716 Industries website differ, the executed agreements between the parties take precedence.

5. Updates

This statement will be updated as agreements are executed and the commercial structure is finalised.
